Sania Mirza To Quit Tennis

In a shocking revelation, which left her fans disappointed, India’s top rated WomanTennis player Sania Mirza said that she would quit Tennis after marriage. Sania got engaged to her childhood friend Sohrab Mirza in July 2009.

“As of now, I don’t intend to play professionally after marriage but that is still some time away,” said Sania Mirza. She did disclose when they are getting married.

Although Sohrab had said that Sania will be free to take a decision on her tennis career after marriage, it is not immediately known why Sania decided to quit tennis after wedding.
