Yamaha Launches YZF-R1

Yamaha India was the first to break-in the CBU sportsbike craze in India with their superbike YZF-R1 (the 2007 model) and the sports cruiser MT-01 in 2008. Come 2010, Yamaha is all set to take the next step with new R1. Launched internationally as a 2009 model the new bike sports the much talked about crossplane crankshaft that comes straight from Valentino Rossi’s YZR-M1 MotoGP bike.
